BATTLE FOR BROOKLYN

Shortlisted for the Best Documentary Feature Oscar, BATTLE FOR BROOKLYN combines nail-biting suspense with heart-rending personal drama and incisive social criticism. The battle in question is an eight-year struggle to prevent billionaire developers from decimating a Brooklyn residential neighborhood in order to build a boondoggle sports stadium. The David in this David-and-Goliath tale is Daniel Goldstein, a resident who becomes the last holdout in a seemingly lost cause.
