Boundaries among friends, co-workers, lovers, and siblings become blurred as director Bujalski (FUNNY HA HA, MUTUAL APPRECIATION), a certified leader of the mumblecore movement, delves into the intersecting relationships of twin-sister roommates Jeannie and Lauren. A laid-back Austin is the setting where energetic but wheelchair-bound Jeannie owns a hip vintage clothing store and sister Lauren mulls over an overseas job offer. The threat of a lawsuit by Jeannie’s business partner sets off the concerned buzz and an ex-lover comes calling, a stepmother gets pushy, and soon everybody is minding somebody else’s business. 35mm.
