Gallery/Cafe

The Gene Siskel Film Center’s Gallery/Cafe enhances the film going experience with an array of film-related exhibitions. Many exhibits are specifically curated with various departments at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to thematically support current film festivals or retrospectives.

Enjoy a conversation with coffee or wine in the gallery/cafe before or after a screening.

FACE OFF

FACE OFF is a solo exhibition by Kenrick Mcfarlane, undergraduate at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Mcfarlane's work revolves around the concept of reality versus fantasy and the proverbial question, "How can an individual turn his or her fantasy into reality?" The exhibition is in conjunction with the Gene Siskel Film Center's Black Harvest Film Festival.
