Chicago premiere! Penn Jillette and Adam Rifkin in person!

"A cutting-edge backstage farce ... clever, cagey, and creepy." — J. R. Jones, Chicago Reader

Tongue-in-cheek wackiness reigns supreme in this hilariously spot-on crowd-funded satire on crowd-funded movies, written by and starring magician/author/actor/musician Penn Jillette as Herbert Blount, the bumptious fan-boy who hijacks the production of the low-budget indie horror film KNOCKED OFF. Obsessed with actress Missi Pyle (playing herself), mega-funder Blount gravitates from lurking as the obnoxious behind-the-scenes hulk to barging through every aspect of the production in a full-blown bull-in-a-china-shop mode that reaches over-the-top heights when he kidnaps the object of his affection with a plan to rework the film’s script. Includes a cameo appearance by Teller in a rare speaking part. DCP digital. (BS)
