A deft sense of humor runs through this deceptively simple story in which the balmy autumn day of three teenagers walking home from soccer practice evolves into a series of comically droll and poignant encounters touched off by the loss of a set of keys. Nine separately titled episodes take tousle-headed Lucas, chubby Mili, and pothead Ruben from afternoon to late evening through muddled adventures in which the lost keys become nothing less than the McGuffin in a day’s test of friendship, budding manhood, and faltering maturity.
