Making ROAD TO NOWHERE

ROAD TO NOWHERE was and is a unique experience for everyone involved. From almost the beginning the movie took on a life and mind of its own. Except for the character of Laurel/Velma, all the major roles were cast, and then ultimately needed to be re-cast for varying reasons . Scenes were spontaneously changed or freshly created based on the inspiration of the moment. And new material was discovered having been shot by an actor using one of the cameras as a prop.

Of course "ROAD TO NOWHERE" is really a collaboration between all the creative artists - writer, actors and technicians, all of whom were encouraged to tap into their subconscious. We hope now to include the audience into this collaboration.

We didn't know where this ROAD would lead, and only now see the movie as, among many other things, a celebration of the power movies hold over our imaginations, as well as a test of the resilience of our willing suspension of disbelief.
