Director Juraj Lerotic crafts - from his own personal family history - a study on care and trauma, as Damir’s family struggles to find support for their mentally ill son and brother. Austere and tender, Lerotic’s feature debut is a devastating portrait of family. It won Best Debut, Best Director, and Best Actor awards at the Locarno Film Festival and served as Croatia’s submission for Academy Award consideration.
