Sunday, November 5, 3:00 p.m. | For over five decades, the Community Film Workshop of Chicago has supported African Americans and people of color in the film industry. This free showcase features 12 captivating short films, each highlighting diverse voices and stories, covering topics from violence prevention to science fiction, community gardening, gentrification, caregiving, intergenerational mentorship, and entrepreneurship. These films beautifully reflect the rich tapestry of our community. Join CCFW and the Black Harvest Film Festival in celebrating the authentic voices of South Side storytellers. Black Harvest Film Festival: Chicago’s annual showcase for films that celebrate, explore and share the Black, African American and African Diaspora experience.
