"Who needs humans? This is visual storytelling at its finest, a traditional animation of gentle, unshowy genius. Sometimes the very best love stories go deeper than words can say." - Helen O'Hara, Empire Magazine

"A wad of Kleenex is non-negotiable." - Robbie Collin, Daily Telegraph (UK)

Opens June 14 | In this tender, charming, Academy Award-nominated animated feature, Dog lives in Manhattan and he’s tired of being alone. One day he decides to build himself a robot companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80’s NYC. One summer night, Dog, with great sadness, is forced to abandon ROBOT at the beach. Will they ever meet again? Adapted from Sara Varon’s (SAIC BFA 1989) graphic novel, and winner of Best Film at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and the Best Animated Independent Feature at the Annie Awards, Pablo Berger’s (BLANCANIEVES) ROBOT DREAMS is a “wordless wonder that will live long in the memory.” (Little White Lies)
