Thursday, February 8, 8:15 p.m. | In Delaram’s powerful feature debut, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, a former filmmaker, now employed as a nighttime medical worker, helps a political prisoner escape her jail-like existence. Together they travel through Iran, connecting with local citizens experiencing similar problems while trying to keep one step ahead of the government authorities looking to recapture the pair.
