Sunday, February 2, 1:00 p.m. | LIVING TOGETHER chronicles the journey of a group of young pioneers as they embark on the creation of a housing cooperative built on the principles of sustainability, community, and affordability. This project is the first of its kind in the Netherlands, and the group faces the challenge of having no prior experience in construction. The film follows their evolution from their origins, and ultimately to the realization of De Warren—a groundbreaking housing cooperative. Followed by WHERE WE GROW OLDER (2023, dir. Daniel Schwartz, Canada, 30 min. In English and Spanish with English subtitles / Format: Digital), which questions the role of urban design and politics and asks: where will you live as you age? Will your city take care of you? How should we design for the elderly and for those who care for them?
