“The best Godzilla movie in years,” - Erik Kain, Forbes

“A meditation on sorrow and survival in the wake of WWII.”-  Esther Zuckerman, The New York Times

Tuesday, April 1, 6:00 p.m. | Setting itself apart from the 37 previous Godzilla films, GODZILLA MINUS ONE is set both before and after the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The story follows a kamikaze pilot and his encounters with the monster that was empowered by the US nuclear tests in the Pacific Ocean. Far from a horror movie, GODZILLA MINUS ONE takes a more sentimental and emotional look at the beast, and is a story of finding community in the wake of destruction.
