The story is pure escapism, and what an escape it is, into the penthouse lair of three gold-digger models trolling Manhattan for millionaire husbands. As myopic Pola, too vain to wear much-needed glasses, Marilyn Monroe gives dumb blondes a good name with her slyly winsome appeal and drop-dead comic timing.
