“The movie has buckets of style and a higher gag-per-minute ratio than most Hollywood comedies. And it remains, most importantly, a chance to see Fleabag’s [Sian] Clifford fully and gloriously unleashed.” - Kevin Maher, The Times (UK)

“Sian Clifford is on top form in Samuel Abrahams’ debut, an engrossing study of invisible womanhood that plays out with bizarre hilarity and emotional sensitivity.” - Emily Maskell, Empire Magazine

“An outrageous barnstormer…like SALTBURN on shrooms.” - Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

Opens October 31 | In this absurdist comedy, deluded aristocrat Lady Isabella (Sian Clifford) hires struggling director Sam (Laurie Kynaston) to document life at her imposing country estate, Ravenhyde Hall. When he discovers that the promise of a Netflix commission was a lie, and that Isabella only wants him there to film her taking part in a ridiculously low stakes regional talent show held at the Hall, he’s ready to quit—until he realises the narcissistic Lady is, quite literally, turning invisible. With laugh-out-loud performances and a cheeky sideways glance at documentary ethics, LADY playfully sends up the fading British aristocracy and the humbling process of aging. Siskel Film Center exclusive.
