SHEEP IN THE BOX

Opens August 14 | Koreeada, a master of depicting the complex lives of children, delivers a thought-provoking sci-fi take on family in his latest film which recently premiered at Cannes. In the not-so-distant future, a grieving couple who has lost their son takes a humanoid with the same appearance and voice as their late child into their lives. With a compelling performance by 10-year-old Rimu Kuwaki and a multi-faceted narrative structure, SHEEP IN THE BOX is a poetic fairytale of parenthood and mourning.
