June 29 & 30 at 8:30pm | Chicago-made THE WOODSTOCK OF HOUSE details the triumph of House music, a genre that was attacked by mainstream America in the late 1970s for being “too Black, too Latin, and too gay.” This is the untold story of the role of Chicago’s Chosen Few DJs and the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the annual Chosen Few Music Festival, which brought 50,000 people of different races, ages, and sexual orientations together with peace, love, and music. Screenings followed by a post-screening discussion with crew and subjects scheduled to attend.
